A legacy of service & medical precision

Maddox Medical was founded by Gus Pantelides, a Vietnam veteran who served on the USS Maddox. Family owned and operated since the start.

OUR STORY

The story behind Maddox

Gus Pantelides served in Vietnam on the USS Maddox (DD731), which was then stationed in Subic Bay, Phillipines.

Gus served for 4 years and returned home. After his service he was a bail bondsman but had dreams to expand into other areas of business.

He opened a direct mail marketing business, which he ran for 34 years, serving car dealers all over the US.

He later invested in medical equipment companies. Two years ago he became the primary owner of Maddox Medical LLC, which is based in Arizona. Currently, Maddox Medical holds the Tuscon VA DME contract and services veterans throughout the state, and even into New Mexico. The company is entirely family owned.
